Upon our descent, we will arrive at Ait Ben Haddou: a cultural world heritage site in Morocco since 1987; the Ksour (Berber villages) of Ait Benhaddou was once an important stop along the caravan routes which carried salt from the Sahara, and on return, gold and ivory. It is the best-preserved and well-fortified Kasbah. Several films have been shot there including; The Mummy, Alexander, Kingdom of Heaven, and Prince of Persia. Afterward, we will continue our desert journey to the city of Ouarzazate, and visit Taourirte Kasbah and the Atlas film studios. and head along the Road of Thousand Kasbahs passing the Skoura Oasis and Rose Valley to Dades Gorge, where we spend the night in a local hotel.

We will enjoy the views of the Dades Valley and the Dades Gorge cut out from the valley into the High Atlas. And we will head towards the Gorge of Todra. This whole area is spotted by ruined Kasbahs, green oasis, and typical villages, which creates a paradise for any photographer. The Todra Gorge is a classic gorge with narrow high rock walls that rises 300 meters high. After taking a break to stretch our legs in the gorge we will have lunch in a local restaurant and continue our journey to the desert of Morocco, through the sunny sand dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga, where you will take a camel ride (about 1 hour) in order to arrive at the Bivouac in time to see the sun setting over the dunes. We will have an early start to the day and return on the camels during sunrise to Merzouga. Here, breakfast will be prepared for you and along with the opportunity to shower before our departure, we will take a different route along the southern volcanic mountains of Sarhro with peculiar formatted peaks and come across the oasis of the Draa, lined by palm groves. Lunch will be on the way, and then, after reaching Ouarzazate we cross the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.

As others have said.. one of the most amazing trip adventures of my life! Not ONLY the trip.. but the people. If you’re cool.. (are you COOL?).. then you’ll appreciate being with 100% COOL and AMAZING people! You’ll understand after. Mohammed is AMAZING and one of the sweetest, most genuine people you will meet in Morocco who will take care of you in all ways at every moment. Then comes the people he will introduce you to which are equally amazing! All along the road to the desert, the stops at authentic Berber locations.. eating with Berber families and their kids.. sitting across the table sifting through antiques with ancient peoples.. I just have no words. You will never, ever see and witness these things without Mohammed and this tour. Finally arriving at literally one of the most incredible sights I have ever seen in my life which is the Erg Chebbi dunes. Meeting Hamid who will lead you across the dunes while singing and laughing.. finally to the Tiziri Luxury Camp run by Ahmed and his family…
