way, as well as a very comfortable vehicle to get from
one spot to the next. The tour guide and driver are both
very sweet, knowledgeable and fun! They highlighted
goods from various regions and helped us get quality
products, Felt safe and cared for. The last night in the Sahara Desert at the Berber camp was beyond words and left a lasting impression. Again definitely recommended for anyone seeking to see and experience variety of landscapes in style.

The second time there was music! There are clean bathrooms nearby, and the camels are easier to ride than I feared (I'm middle aged and not very agile). Abdelghani is our favorite guide! His English is excellent, and he is kind, responsive, and knowledgeable. He is very careful about choosing the best spots, and he loves to share the beauties of Morocco with guests. This ride was only about 50 km from Marrakech. The other desert excursions are much farther, but this has everything you would want nearer to the city.

Second day Abdou took us to Essouaria, the coastal city 2 and a half hours drive from Marrakesh. A relaxed and private tour to this beautiful town. ABDOU is a safe driver and very service minded in his profession.He explains to you everything and he is a good english speaker, which was necessary for us. We booked a whole... read more day excursion to Kasba Ait BenHaddou, just me and my friend. We started the trip at 7:30 where Abdelrani, one of a kind guide, whose gentle manners and studied BA historian knowledge exceeded our expectations. He picked us up with an extremely comfortable car and started telling us with passion interesting and relevant information about the city with a flawless English. We stopped at a new renovated traditional cafe for breakfast where you could listen to one of the most beautiful chants as background music while admiring the dry river view. We continued our journey with strategic breathtaking stops on the way to our final destination where we arrived before all the other tourists since we started our trip 1 hour before the usual time - thanks Abdelrani professionalism and know-how. We arrived at Kasba Ait BenHaddou where a wonderful tangine and couscous was waiting for us at a rooftop restaurant facing the UNESCO site of the old city of BenHaddou. There we met our local guide, Jamal, one of the most charming and full of vitality man who besides very knowledgeable is a star - he took part in the Game of Thrones and Aladdin amongst other movies- and whose charisma is contagious. He showed us his house - there are only 8 families in this village, he is part of one of them - and invited us for a tea at his home lounge, surrounded by his mother’s carpets, artifacts which dazzled us with so much beauty. On our way back, Abdelrani explained to us the differences between the Berber and Tuaregs as well as insider curiosities and informative stories you don’t find in guides, the salt rout, the struggle of those fascinating human beings who live in the desert. The 4 hours drive back home was smooth. The contrast of the blue sky and the endless terra cotta color vibrated in each part of the road luring our senses and blurring the line between dream and reality. We can’t thank enough the good care Abdelrani and Jamal took of us and all the small thoughtful details that enabled this trip to be remembered for the rest of our lives.

We ate delicious local food and stopped at every place imaginable to take gorgeous sunset pictures while the whole journey meeting local artisans and experiencing ALL of the amazing and unique sights on the way and learning of the beautiful ancient Berber culture, history and cuisine. Along the way, you will have MANY opportunities to watch the art of the amazing rugs being made and their differences in texture and styles, the benefits of rose water and oils, enjoy the most delicious dates in the world, learn about and see fossils that are millions of years old, all while testing and turning through the old roads and sights on your way to the Merzouga Desert.

Once you reach Merzouga, you will be greeted by more of the kindest and Wonderful tour guides who will help guide you on a camel, (thank you Hamid!) (they are amazing btw) into the sunset over the magical dunes where you will spend the night under the MANY Desert stars after enjoying a delicious 5 star dining experience followed by after dinner entertainment with drums, singing and dancing with the whole wonderful Tiziri crew!

We couldn't have picked a better tour group from start to finish. Treat yourself and your friends to this magical lifetime experience. ️

In the end a short acquaintance with Berber culture, mint tea hosted by a wonderful local woman who lives there. Highly recommend to pass one evening this way with Abdel while you are in Marrakech.

Mohammed is AMAZING and one of the sweetest, most genuine people you will meet in Morocco who will take care of you in all ways at every moment. Then comes the people he will introduce you to which are equally amazing! All along the road to the desert, the stops at authentic Berber locations.. eating with Berber families and their kids.. sitting across the table sifting through antiques with ancient peoples.. I just have no words. You will never, ever see and witness these things without Mohammed and this tour. Finally arriving at literally one of the most incredible sights I have ever seen in my life which is the Erg Chebi dunes. Meeting Hamid who will lead you across the dunes while singing and laughing.. finally to the Tiziri Luxury Camp run by Ahmed and his family. The most AMAZING people you may ever meet while drumming under the stars of the Sahara. Again.. the coolest, most amazing people. All of them. The experience of a lifetime. I was in awe by the beauty of Morocco for hours on end during the long car rides, and Aziz was a very safe, skilled driver. The bus was so comfortable, the hotel on the fist night was beautiful, and all the food was amazing. The camel ride and camp night was a truly enchanting experience. The hospitality of the camp hosts is unparalleled to anything I have yet to experience. Everything about this tour was unforgettably perfect, and I cannot wait to return one day.
